In the article the development and research of various technological schemes of the process of stamping by screwing with cylindrical and tapered rolls for obtaining difficult profile blanks has been carried out. It is shown that achievement of significant sizes of various elements of the work piece is possible by providing a directed flow of metal by changing the mutual position of the roll and work piece. The most effective stamping operations are landing, deposition and retrieval. The zones of work pieces which are deformed in the conditions of a "hard" stress state are established, therefore, for the determination of technological possibilities for them, an assessment of the deformability of metals should be made. The manufacture of thin-walled elements of the work piece using a reverse extrusion operation is accompanied by the appearance of significant contact stresses, therefore, for preventing the roll off of the work piece, the rollers of the support should be provided
