GRAIN HARVESTER COMBINED BY NEW HOLLAND
Anatoliy Yelenych – Assistant of the Department of “Agroengineering and Technical Service” of the Vinnitsa National Agrarian University (3 Solnechnaya St, Vinnitsa, 21008, Ukraine, e-mail: a.elenech@ukr.net, https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7424-1822).
Today, grain-harvesting machines are being improved in the directions of increasing the productivity and stability of the technological process, reducing damage and loss of grain, improving the working conditions of the operator, and reducing the harmful impact on the soil and the environment. Every year, manufacturers offer new and more modernized equipment that allows them to meet modern requirements.
In recent years, many new harvesters of different manufacturers have appeared on the Ukrainian market, differing from each other in power, set of additional functions and other characteristics. An analysis of the technical level and features of these new machines will help agricultural producers make a more accurate choice when purchasing and purchase equipment that most fully meets all requirements.
Manufacturers have also introduced a number of innovative solutions and developments into their equipment that increase the efficiency of the harvesters. Among them: a change in the frequency of rotation of the drive shafts of the straw shaker depending on the slope of the field and the type of crop being harvested; changing the frequency of rotation of the cleaning fan according to the angle of inclination; 4D-cleaning system, which increases the productivity of Lexion 700 hybrid grain harvesting machines. Among the new developments, it should also be noted the automatic change of movement speed according to the load and the intensification of grain selection by the straw shaker by installing a drum with an eccentric mechanism above it. Among the innovations, it is also possible to single out the use of an electric drive for modifying the settings of the thresher by the operator from the cabin; video cameras that improve visibility of mechanisms; crawler motors that reduce the negative impact on the soil; the possibility of preliminary preparation of the mass before submission to threshing; automatic adjustment of the thresher with preset for certain cultures; devices for adaptation of equipment operation on slopes.
The main feature of new grain harvesters of various manufacturers is the presence of engines that meet modern requirements for the toxicity of exhaust gases. As with tractors, SCR selective catalytic neutralization technology is increasingly used in their design. The most powerful engine of 460 kW is installed on the Lexion 780 Terra Trac, the largest hopper with a capacity of 14.5 cubic meters. m have New Holland CR 9.90 and CR10.90 combines.

Technology, energy, agriculture transport AIC is a scholarly professional journal with a long-standing history and stable academic tradition, reflecting the evolution of engineering and technical sciences within the agro-industrial sector of Ukraine.
The journal was founded in 1997 under the title Bulletin of Vinnytsia State Agricultural Institute. According to the Resolution of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine dated September 11, 1997, the publication obtained the status of a professional scientific journal, which enabled the publication of the main results of doctoral and candidate dissertations in technical sciences. From its inception, the journal positioned itself as an academic platform for addressing current issues of mechanization, electrification, and technical support of agricultural production.
During 2001–2014, the journal was published under the title Proceedings of Vinnytsia National Agrarian University. Series: Technical Sciences (State Registration Certificate of Print Media KV No. 16644-5116 PR dated April 30, 2010). Throughout this period, a systematic approach to the selection and peer review of scientific manuscripts was established, the thematic scope of publications was expanded, and continuity of scientific directions as well as the development of sectoral engineering schools was ensured.
Since 2015, the journal has been published under its current title, Technology, energy, agriculture transport AIC (State Registration Certificate No. 21906-11806 R dated March 12, 2016). The change of title reflected the expansion of the journal’s thematic coverage and its orientation toward interdisciplinary research in mechanical engineering, energy systems, electrical engineering, transport technologies, automation, and digital solutions for the agro-industrial complex.
The journal consistently adheres to the principles of open science. All published materials are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), ensuring open access to research results provided proper attribution to the authors and the original publication is maintained.
At present, Technology, energy, agriculture transport AIC is an authoritative professional scientific journal (Category B), providing a platform for the publication of fundamental and applied research results, promoting the integration of education, science, and industry, and contributing to the advancement of engineering and technological support of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine.
