PRIMARY TREATMENT OF SEEDS

In agriculture, as in no other industry, there is a huge number of machines and apparatus for the primary processing and storage of seeds of different crops. Particular attention is paid to the drying process of grain, because it is one of the most energy-consuming processes.
Reducing the cost of drying the mustard seed, as the most energy-intensive process in its production, along with the increase in the intensity of moisture is considered as the most important task in the development of new drying technology and drying structures, as well as in improving existing ones. To intensify the above-mentioned production, the use of microwave dryers, which is a new trend in the drying process, provides energy-saving technologies for the processing of seed oilseeds, provided that the specific energy consumption of the specified processing cycle is significantly reduced.
