Retraction policy for published articles

The editorial board adheres to the principles of responsibility and transparency in the event that violations of academic integrity or significant errors are identified in already published materials. The retraction of an article is carried out when it is established that its content contains unreliable data, ethical violations, or other circumstances that may undermine the credibility of the research results.

Grounds for Retraction

The grounds for retraction may include:

- confirmation of plagiarism facts, self-plagiarism, or duplicate publication;

- detection of fabrication, falsification, or significant distortion of research results;

- presence of significant errors in calculations or data that affect the study's conclusions;

- copyright infringement or the use of materials without proper authorization;

- concealment of conflicts of interest or other material circumstances;

- confirmation of ethical violations during the conduct of the research.

Retraction Procedure

The article retraction process involves the following stages:

1. Receipt of a notification regarding a potential violation from authors, reviewers, readers, or other stakeholders.

2. Preliminary analysis of the received information by the editorial board. If necessary, additional materials or explanations may be requested from the authors.

3. Review of the situation by the Editorial Board, taking into account the recommendations of international organizations, specifically the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

4. Decision-making regarding further actions, which may include:

5. Making corrections to the article;

6. Publishing a notice of clarification or refutation;

7. Retracting the article from scientific circulation.

Retraction Notice

If a decision to retract is made, the editorial board ensures:

- publication of a retraction notice stating the reasons for the decision;

- retention of the bibliographic data of the retracted article in the journal archive;

- marking the retracted material with a corresponding status in the electronic version of the publication;

- informing the authors of the decision.

A retracted article is not completely removed from the journal archive but is retained with an appropriate retraction notice to ensure transparency of the editorial process and preservation of the scientific record.

Correction of Errors

In the event that minor errors are detected that do not affect the fundamental results of the research, the editorial board may limit its actions to publishing a correction or clarification (erratum/corrigendum) without retracting the article.

Adherence to this procedure helps ensure the reliability of published materials, maintain trust in research results, and uphold a high standard of academic integrity within the journal.
